25 years ago today…
It was Villanova who pulled off the greatest upset in NCAA tournament history when it knocked off the Georgetown Hoyas to win the 1985 National Championship. The Wildcats needed to play the perfect game that day, and in many ways, they did.
A lot of great stuff today to celebrate the victory:
