Redding back on Saturday

After a suspension that cost him the first 10 games of this season, senior guard Reggie Redding will return to the court this Saturday against Fordham.  Redding was projected to be a starter for the team before his suspension, so it will be interesting to see what role Jay Wright has for him when his seasons begins.  The loss of Mouphtaou Yarou has forced Maurice Sutton into the lineup, and while Wright has praised his defense, Sutton seems to be the most obvious candidate to be replaced, if and when Redding becomes a starter again.  There also are some rumblings that junior guard Corey Stokes could be headed to the bench in favor of Redding.

Redding will probably be eased back into the lineup, but we will at the very least get a sampling of what his role will be on Saturday.

Now, off to the FCS title game.  It has been a great year for Villanova sports.

Very informative article. I’ve found your blog via Bing and I’m really happy about the information you provide in your articles. Btw your sites layout is really broken on the Kmelon browser. Would be cool if you could fix that. Anyhow keep up the great work!
